How electric netting works

The Net is manufactured from polyurethane with metal filaments running through the horizontal strands. (apart from the baseline). The netting is held up using plastic posts. 

To charge the net you need to attach an energiser and also to the ground using an earth stake. This forms an open circuit and when an animal touches the net and the ground it completes the circuit and gets a shock.  This also means you don't have to have your net in a loop and it can be erected in a straight line.
