Excellent build quality as expected from Gardena but do not expect to be able to get anywhere near the state maximum capacity. Maybe, MAYBE if you were very precise in your winding, you MIGHT, but I suspect it is simply mathematically possible to contain 50m of 13mm hose. I tried three times and got to about 35m. I am now going for a "100m" hose reel as I'll probably get 50m on to it without hassle!
