The Husqvarna Automower® 305E NERA is a compact, wire-free robotic lawn mower designed for lawns up to 900 m². Featuring the intelligent EdgeCut function, it significantly reduces the need for manual edge trimming—saving you time and effort while keeping borders neat and tidy.

Using satellite-based virtual boundaries, installation is clean, flexible, and completely cable-free. For wire-free operation, Wi-Fi coverage across the entire lawn area is required.

With no physical boundary wires to install, virtual boundaries are created digitally, making it easy to adapt your lawn layout as your garden changes throughout the season.

Smart Control with Automower® Connect

All setup and control is handled through the Automower® Connect app (free on the App Store and Google Play). From the app, you can:

• Create customised mowing zones

• Set temporary stay-out areas for garden projects

• Adjust your lawn layout quickly and easily

• Striped, checkerboard or triangle patterns – up to 900 m²

• Irregular pattern for a smooth, carpet-like finish – up to 600 m²

Requirements

To operate wire-free, the following is required:

• Wi-Fi coverage across the entire lawn area

  • If Wi-Fi is unavailable, you can add the Automower® Connect kit (dealer installation required) to enable cellular connectivity, or

  • Choose the Husqvarna EPOS® RS1 reference station for a stand-alone solution with no internet required

• Automower® Connect app (free to download)

How the Satellite Technology Works

For centimetre-level precision, the mower receives correction data via the Husqvarna Cloud at no extra cost. With Wi-Fi coverage, this provides positioning accuracy typically better than 5 cm.

If Wi-Fi coverage isn’t available, the optional Automower® Connect kit enables cellular connectivity, while the EPOS® RS1 reference station offers even higher accuracy of approximately 2–3 cm, without any internet connection.
