The Husqvarna Automower® 540 EPOS® is a professional wire-free robotic lawn mower designed for efficient maintenance of commercial and municipal turf.
With a working area capacity of up to 8,000 m², it is ideal for business premises, parks, schools, housing developments, roundabouts, hotels and other maintained green spaces where reliable autonomous mowing is required.
Built on Husqvarna's latest mid-sized professional platform, the 540 EPOS® combines satellite-based navigation, professional fleet management and excellent terrain capability in a compact commercial machine.
Wire-Free Husqvarna EPOS® Technology
The Automower® 540 EPOS® uses virtual boundaries instead of a physical perimeter wire.
Working areas, transport paths and stay-out zones are created digitally, making the installation flexible and easy to adapt as the site changes.

Designed for Professional Sites
The 540 EPOS® is particularly well suited to commercial areas where a professional robotic mowing solution is required but a larger CEORA® system may not be necessary.

Excellent Performance on Slopes and Uneven Ground
A pivoting front axle helps the mower follow uneven terrain while maintaining good ground contact and traction.
The 540 EPOS® can operate on slopes of up to 50% within the mowing area, making it suitable for many landscaped and undulating commercial sites.
Cloud-Based EPOS® Correction
Satellite correction data can be received through the Husqvarna Cloud at no additional subscription cost, provided the mower has a reliable mobile network connection.
Where cellular or satellite conditions are limited, a separate reference station can be used.

Husqvarna Fleet Services
The 540 EPOS® is designed to integrate with Husqvarna Fleet Services, giving professional operators greater control over their robotic mowing equipment.
Fleet Services allows operators to manage machines remotely, monitor status and keep equipment connected as part of a wider professional Husqvarna fleet.
The mower includes cellular and Bluetooth® connectivity together with GPS theft tracking, GeoFence protection and remote firmware updates.
Professional Cutting System
The mower uses five pivoting razor blades to continuously trim small amounts from the grass.
The fine clippings are left behind to naturally break down into the lawn, helping maintain a consistently neat appearance without the need for grass collection.
Electric cutting height adjustment allows the cutting height to be changed remotely.
Built for All-Weather Operation
The Automower® 540 EPOS® is designed to operate throughout the grass-growing season and has an IPX5 weatherproof rating.
Its free-hanging blade system allows it to continue mowing effectively in changing weather conditions, including wet grass, subject to normal cleaning and maintenance.

Professional Installation & Site Assessment
For commercial EPOS® installations, correct planning is important.
The charging station position, mobile coverage, satellite visibility, buildings, trees, slopes, transport paths and working areas should all be considered before the system is installed.
Where Husqvarna Cloud correction is suitable, the machine can operate without an additional reference station. Where conditions require it, an EPOS® RS5 or RS 4G Reference Station can be added.
For commercial installations, we recommend carrying out a site assessment before specifying the final system.
