The Husqvarna Automower® 435X AWD NERA is designed for large, challenging gardens where steep slopes, uneven terrain and narrow passages can make robotic mowing difficult.

Its all-wheel-drive system and articulated body provide excellent traction and manoeuvrability, allowing the mower to handle slopes of up to 70% within the mowing area.

With Husqvarna EPOS™ satellite technology, the mower can operate using precise virtual boundaries instead of a traditional perimeter wire. This gives you greater flexibility when changing lawn areas, creating work zones or adding temporary stay-out areas — while also removing the risk of boundary wire breaks.

Using the Automower® Connect app, you can control mowing zones, cutting heights, mowing patterns and temporary exclusion areas directly from your phone.

Choose systematic mowing for neat stripes, checkerboard or triangle patterns, or irregular mowing for the traditional carpet-like Automower finish.

Built for Steep and Difficult Gardens

All-Wheel-Drive Performance

The Automower® 435X AWD NERA uses all-wheel drive to maintain traction across steep, uneven and more demanding terrain.

It can operate on slopes of up to 70% inside the mowing area, making it particularly suitable for gardens where a conventional robotic lawn mower may struggle.

At the virtual or physical lawn boundary, the maximum recommended slope is 50%.

Articulated Body

The mower's articulated body allows the front and rear sections to move independently.

This improves manoeuvrability, allows the mower to follow uneven ground more naturally and provides additional traction when travelling across difficult terrain or through narrow passages.

Wire-Free EPOS™ Installation

The 435X AWD NERA can be installed without a traditional boundary wire using Husqvarna EPOS™ satellite technology.

Instead of burying or pegging a cable around the lawn, virtual boundaries are created digitally using the Automower® Connect app.

This provides much greater flexibility if you need to change the layout of the garden in the future.

A wire-free installation also removes the risk of boundary wire breaks caused by gardening, aeration, animals or landscaping work.

Husqvarna Cloud Correction Included

Satellite correction data can be provided through the Husqvarna Cloud at no additional cost.

For this to work reliably, suitable cellular coverage is required across the mowing area.

If mobile coverage is insufficient across the full lawn, a separate Husqvarna EPOS™ RS1 Reference Station may be required.

Please note: the EPOS™ Reference Station is not included with the mower.

Zone Control

Using the Automower® Connect app, the lawn can be divided into several individual mowing areas.

Each area can have its own settings, allowing the mower to adapt to different parts of the garden.

You can configure:

Temporary stay-out zones are particularly useful for protecting seasonal wildflowers, children's play areas, garden projects or newly seeded sections of lawn.

Systematic Mowing

The mower travels in organised parallel lines, increasing mowing efficiency and creating a more defined appearance.

Selectable patterns include:

When using systematic mowing, the mower can manage lawns of up to 5,000 m².

Irregular Mowing

For the traditional Automower finish, irregular mowing allows the mower to travel across the lawn in a less structured pattern.

This creates a smooth, carpet-like finish and is suitable for areas of up to 3,500 m².

Intelligent Obstacle Detection

Integrated sensors help the mower detect objects in its path and adjust its route accordingly.

This reduces the risk of unnecessary impacts and helps prevent unplanned stops while mowing.

The 435X AWD NERA uses ultrasonic object detection to improve awareness of obstacles around the mower.

Automower® Connect App

The Automower® Connect app gives you remote access to your mower from your smartphone.

Depending on your installation, you can use the app to:

If the mower is moved outside its defined area, its location can be monitored through Automower® Connect.

Cutting System

The mower uses three pivoting razor blades to produce a fine, consistent cut.

Because Automower cuts little and often, the small grass clippings fall back into the lawn where they naturally decompose.

Cutting height can be adjusted electrically between 30 mm and 70 mm.

The mower also features a skid plate and dual cutting direction for improved blade performance and wear.
